Project summary: Nucleic acid isolation for subsequent characterization of a species, variety and strain from environmental samples or consumables often pose challenges as samples may be mixed and isolating sequencing only unique DNA segment of interest is challenging. In the organization we are optimizing the rDT for pin point characterization of one unique sample from environmental or food samples aiding in detection of food adulteration or organism of significant interest in biodiversity and human health.
